So, I'm about to leave for a Men's Retreat, and don't have time to write much. What will be interesting is to see if Rachel reads this/views this post while I am gone!
She is great about knowing that both of us add things to the girls' lives that are indispensable and often cannot be manufactured by the other... But, sometimes doesn't 'feel good' when she sees pictures like this one.

are you kidding?? i love that she can climb trees... or did you just put her in the tree? is she really sobbing because her daddy put her in a tree & wouldn't get her down until he took a picture? : )
actually, i was thinking today (as she climbed the green mountain & went down the big slide 15 times in a row while i was feeding julia) that i am glad you teach her to do things & she has confidence in them. we make a good balance for each other- will you stay married to me?

All right, you're right, I'm sorry I turned morose. The combination of wine, babies, and happily married couples usually makes me want to go jump off a bridge. It was still great to see you guys. Especially Caroline :) You should post some pictures of us.
